David founded Seven Custom Homes in 2007 to fix how custom homes get built: one team responsible for the design and the construction, one contract, and a client who always knows where their money and their schedule stand.

Nearly two decades and more than $500 million of completed work later, the company still runs the way he set it up: a few projects at a time, each reconciled against its contract while it is being built.
