Our history

The beginning

Seven Custom Homes is founded in Austin.

The Hill Country years

The work spreads across the lake communities and the hills west of the city — estate lots, lake views, and the processes that let one team run many builds without losing the thread.

The coast

Seven crosses to the Gulf, and the coastal work grows into a second market — different code, different climate, the same standard.

Who we are

We are a lean, experienced team with owner involvement from start to finish. One team remains accountable for the project — from the first conversation through warranty.

We are not a high-volume builder, and we are not a lowest-price builder. We take on work that fits our standards and our capacity.

How we work

We use fixed-price contracts with defined allowances. Product standards and exclusions are documented on the bid and carried into the signed agreement.

Clients receive weekly project updates with progress photos. Our proprietary system, MySeven, keeps selections, budget, schedule, and documentation in one place. This is especially valuable for clients with demanding schedules or who live out of town.

Where we build

Austin, Westlake, Rollingwood, Lake Travis, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, Spicewood, Horseshoe Bay / Lake LBJ, and Port Aransas (Cinnamon Shore and Palmilla Beach).

What we stand behind

We choose products and trade partners for long-term performance and warranty reliability. In Central Texas, we independently test our pools to help guard against concrete cancer (ASR).

We stand behind the work: one year on workmanship and materials, two years on systems, and ten years on the structure — in writing. The same team that built the house remains the point of contact after handover.
